Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, road access points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, reporting irregularities and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
Support traffic and access flow during routine operations, incidents, and/or special circumstances while maintaining visible presence and following post orders and applicable procedures.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
