As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Access Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and delivery documentation.
  • Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
