As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in El Reno, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for campus facilities, events, and restricted areas.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
