As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. In this driving role, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations at transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding property in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, vehicle staging areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with dispatch, law enforcement, emergency responders, and site personnel as directed.
