About The Position

We are seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team. We are looking for Security Officers interested in working Night clubs and after hours located in the San Francisco and Oakland area. Nightclub security personnel are responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment for patrons and staff, monitoring the premises, controlling access to front entrance and exits, enforcing all company rules, regulations and managing conflicts that may arise, also be involved in crowd control, emergency response, and reporting safety hazards. Specific tasks will include checking IDs, inspecting personal property for weapons before entry, preventing over-intoxication at the bar, not allowing outside beverages or food inside premises, escorting guest off property, and ensuring the club doesn't exceed capacity. Essential Skills are needed to maintain a safe environment for this position including: - Strong Communication Skills - Conflict resolution - Situation Awareness - Physical Fitness In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
Valid registration as a security officer
Valid Firearms license if armed
High school diploma/GED
Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
Ability to operate surveillance equipment
High level of integrity and professionalism
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to work under stress with or without direct supervision

Responsibilities

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Remove trespassers when necessary
Monitor surveillance cameras
Respond to reports of suspicious activity
Report on daily activities and any security incidents
