As a Security Officer Armed Rover Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or points of sale for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
Assist with access control, de-escalation, and/or coordination with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed, while maintaining detailed and accurate activity reports.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
