Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders.
• Support emergency and utility-related response procedures, including assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and communication during outages, equipment issues, and/or other site events.
