As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Antioch, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. Requirements

Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, utility location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, access points, buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, access concerns, incidents, and maintenance-related observations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
Maintain required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public agencies as directed.
