As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Castle Rock, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public sector personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Support an armed patrol post by maintaining readiness with assigned equipment, following post orders, and documenting security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help address access concerns, provide directions, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns.
