As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for patients, visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with location policies and/or applicable post instructions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local staff, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
