As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, and vendor activity in line with site protocols for a fast-paced telecom and data-driven environment.
Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate relevant information with supervisors, clients, and/or local responders as needed.
