As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures for restricted areas, equipment spaces, and other sensitive locations.
• Operate within post orders and applicable use-of-force guidelines while maintaining professional presence, reporting security-related concerns, and assisting with site-specific response protocols.
