As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, supporting access and badge activity, and helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and report conditions that need attention.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or badge compliance in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and professional interactions at the location.
  • Support daily operations by communicating clearly with personnel, assisting with site directions and/or policy questions, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.
