Requirements
- An active DoD TS-SCI Clearance is required.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or vendor entry requirements, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and following post orders and reporting procedures during routine and critical situations.
