Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as directed, and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or disruptive activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant updates to support ongoing security-related operations.
