About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an experienced armed patrol Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Cincinnati, Ohio. The officer will provide customer service while monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to changing situations. The role is part-time and pays $28.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available through the Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and armed officer protocols.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities; communicate observations and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
