About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a public-facing location in Toledo, Ohio. The officer will maintain a visible presence, conduct patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The position pays $23.00 per hour and is full-time, with shifts scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law and must participate in industry-specific security training.

Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have a valid driver’s license, as required for driving positions and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Communicate clearly with visitors and staff and support a welcoming environment.
