As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, while handling sensitive information professionally.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
