As a Armed Security Officer - Incident Response in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, government location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of offices, public service areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials when required, and assist with managing access to restricted government work areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or designated personnel as needed.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions through clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal and location leadership.
