Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed credentials. Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential shoplifting, property damage, and other security-related concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain required armed officer credentials, handle assigned equipment responsibly, and complete clear incident reports and patrol documentation.
