Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess a CPO certification.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols.
  • Support cash handling, restricted area oversight, and other sensitive location operations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns promptly.
