Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic residential care location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using good judgment and clear communication.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with site requirements, Allied Universal standards, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
