As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Detail in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify identification and/or access permissions, and support movement control procedures in accordance with site protocols.
Carry authorized defensive equipment while on duty and follow all post orders, use of force guidelines, and reporting requirements related to armed patrol assignments.
