As a Security Officer Armed Motorized Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, assist with access control and loss prevention support, and help to address policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Carry and maintain authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, site procedures, and applicable laws, while exercising sound judgment during security-related responses.
