As a Security Officer Armed Motor Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed post requiring Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for security-related concerns, and/or assist with access control and visitor interactions when appropriate.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by reporting suspicious activity, assisting with incident response, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
