As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Butlerville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Armed Officers at a government location monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter incidents through a visible presence, attentive observation, and responsive support. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who value teamwork, integrity, and service, with opportunities to perform vehicle patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help support access control procedures for government operations.
  • Assist with incident response, de-escalation, and coordination with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
