As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a professional presence that helps discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and sharing observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or screening points, verify access permissions as directed, and report suspicious items, persons, and/or activity to the appropriate contacts.
Support government facility operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related checks, escorts, and/or other assigned duties as needed.
