Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify authorized entry when required, and help support a controlled environment for staff, visitors, and/or vendors.
  • Assist with de-escalation, emergency notifications, and coordination with site leadership and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, or security-related events.
