Requirements

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols while reporting policy violations and security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence while handling assigned post duties, preparing accurate incident reports, and supporting emergency actions and/or evacuation procedures when appropriate.
