Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard is required.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual events, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
