About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Authorization in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the residential community by verifying visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization; documenting entries and departures; and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entry points, gate systems, and access-control equipment; report malfunctions, unusual activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed by established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, entry areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
