As a Security Officer Driver Entry Authorization in Franklin Lakes, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor access materials, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Support healthcare operations by directing visitors, communicating site policies, and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
