As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, conduct routine patrols, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, document visitor and vendor activity, and direct individuals according to community procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
