Security Officer - Access Screening Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Lebanon, Indiana, you will safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide customer service. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving position, and a valid driver’s license is required. The position is full-time and pays $20.00 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy for this driving position.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access-control records.
- Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, and report security-related concerns.
- Assist with compliance with site access requirements for sensitive business and research areas while providing professional communication and support.
