About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Management in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy concerns, and potential loss-prevention issues.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
