About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Access Management in Gretna, Nebraska, serving a logistics and distribution location. The officer manages entry points, verifies credentials, monitors access activity, and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves professional communication with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

The scheduled shifts are Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor registrations, and delivery appointments in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
