Security Officer Access Management Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Georgetown, Delaware, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with badge-related processes. The role involves providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while supporting a welcoming and secure environment. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through integrity and teamwork. This is a part-time position scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.34 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience.

- A Guard Card or license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond calmly to access concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Report unusual conditions, access control issues, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
