About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Access Management in Boaz, Alabama, serving a food and beverage production or distribution location. The officer helps maintain a welcoming, controlled environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting activity, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points at a food and beverage production or distribution location, verifying authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records, and issue and collect access credentials according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; document observations promptly and notify appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
