About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Oakland, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized personnel, vendors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
