Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, interior spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Support a professional, welcoming environment while controlling access to offices, event spaces, and other restricted areas in accordance with client requirements.
