Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and other security-related policies for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and/or help to control authorized access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
