About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management Associate in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help protect people, property, and daily operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, review credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as loading docks, warehouse spaces, and/or administrative offices.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, trailer areas, parking lots, and other high-traffic areas where working conditions may vary by location.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, delivery records, and/or incident reports while communicating clearly with staff, vendors, and transportation personnel regarding access requirements and site expectations.
