Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, parking locations, and perimeter, with attention to security-related conditions and unusual activity.
  • Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at access points, communicate clearly with site personnel, and complete required reports related to security-related events and observations.
