Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, monitor activity, and support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior and exterior areas, gates, docks, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Assist with traffic and vehicle access procedures by helping to deter unauthorized entry, directing approved vehicles to designated areas, and documenting unusual activity.
