As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Phillipsburg, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, document visitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other access-related activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and/or unusual activity.
  • Support screening and checkpoint operations by helping to deter unauthorized entry, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues.
