As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a technology and media-focused location.
  • Monitor access points, screen authorized and unauthorized entry attempts, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and consistent application of security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, access control activity, and daily observations, and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and site expectations.
