About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at entry and exit points.
Monitor gates, doors, badge readers, and/or visitor management systems to help regulate authorized access to the location, reporting irregular activity or credential concerns to site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, loading and receiving areas, and the perimeter, with attention to unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or security-related concerns.
Document daily activity, visitor and contractor arrivals, delivery traffic, and/or incident details in required logs and reports, communicating relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
