Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points by checking identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and/or delivery documentation before allowing access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Document visitor activity, vehicle information, personnel movements, and unusual observations in logs, reports, and other required records.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gate areas, and perimeter locations to help support security-related procedures and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy concerns.
