As a Security Officer - Access Coordinator in Indiantown, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. At a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. This role calls for strong communication and customer service as you assist employees, visitors, and vendors with professionalism. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, facility issues, and other security-related concerns.
  • Support daily operations by documenting observations, completing required reports, and following post orders related to screening, key control, and other security-related activities.
