As a Security Officer X Ray Image Analysis in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening technology to help identify prohibited items, manage access points, and support orderly operations. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors while delivering attentive customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, operational spaces, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and security-related incidents.
